We paint toe nails... each one carefully in a new colour.
We wash hands and wash hands and wash them some more.
We put you to bed and before we are even in our pj's you come out with your doll's clothes on your head.
I braid and re-braid your "rapunzel hair."
We dress up. You put on more make-up than I ever do even though you say you're doing it "just like mommy." We wear jewels and feathers and parade around.
We go to church. We go to the store. We go on a playdate. We go sledding. We go to the park. We go on a walk. We go to music class & gymnastics. We go to town. We go crazy!
There's snacks in between meals.
And meals in between snacks.
There's learning all of the time: spelling, counting, singing, rhyming, do's & dont's and how-to's.
And there's so much "I wanna be like you."
And there's these rare moments:
And when it's all said & done, I am 2 tired to blog! Tuckered out by the 2 year old once again!
I've been squeezing in the book of Romans, usual housekeeping chores, errands and boot camp 1x a week. Keeping busy=sanity for the time being. We are anticipating spring and then SUMMER as the snow S L O W L Y melts on warmer days. We'll slow down then and soak up the grilling & tanning & maybe GARDENING. Stay tuned this summer to see if it really happens. The kids did a melting snowman craft in music class today and it made me hopeful for an early spring even though it snowed all weekend. Snow snow- all of this talk about snow!!!
I don't feel I've had too much inspiration to share on the blog lately... partially a lack of actual inspiration, partially a lack of mental oganization... and seriously being too tired!! Sometimes I start typing and it makes no sense. We'll get there :) Until then, its pretty fun to share pictures of my pride & joy.
